Joe Muller, Historyworks intern (working with Jon and Helen) has researched the main platforms and choices for heritage apps, reviewing the capacities of content and technology available for UK users.  In the photograph, Joe is presenting his findings to a meeting of York’s heritage sector.  The talk is aptly called “App 101”

Since then, we've updated the talk and made it into an informational short film, useful if you want to learn about technical choices/systems.  We've also added some reviews of heritage and city apps in the UK.
