Helen Weinstein and Jon Calver have greatly enjoyed working with the City Archaeologist, John Oxley.   It has involved coaching Jon for delivering scripts and in turn he has generously shared his expertise with the Media team at Historyworks and the Researchers and Interns.  We have come up with some elegant turns of phrase.  Even when things look smooth in a script, it is only when these need to be performed as audio recorders, that it turns out that some paragraphs are impossible to breathe through.  We have enjoyed working together immensely, and really pleased that John Oxley has stayed committed to the trail project, and wishes to record the podcasts next year for the Vikings, Medieval, Georgian, and Victorian trails.  We’ll look forward to this in 2013 !
